ESU international news

The English Speaking Union International Council Meeting 2015 took place in London, Great Britain on 14-18 October 2015. The Chairman of the ESU Ukraine, Associate Professor of the Translation Department Margaryta Danilko and the Steering Committee Member, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Nadiya Ivanenko presented Ukraine in it.

The International Council Meeting 2015 was very well organized at the ESU headquarters, Dartmouth House, London. Thanks to the ESU staff organizing and managing the ICM with such dedication, dynamism and availability, it was a real success.

I was really pleased to have such an opportunity to attend the conference and took great advantage of the active discussions throughout the conference. Every participant made a contribution to the inspiring conversations about our educational work and cultural connections.

One could observe a positive and dynamic collective energy to see the ESU move forward. We all keep active to promote the mission of the ESU and international fellowship. I am awed by the potential for good that is inherent in our mission and which each one of us puts into practice every day. As a great international team, we do have the potential to put into practice the ideas, the suggestions, the plans and projects that we developed during several fruitful days and we will, thanks to our inspiration, determination and commitment to serve the ESU.
