Simple, but lifetime ideas

Eighteen speakers, but uncountably new ideas. This is the best way to describe this day.

“Today is a history, tomorrow is a mystery”, “Appreciate every moment in this sometimes unfair, but very beautiful world”, “Do not allow the temporal mist to mislead you” and much more. These are only several of the simple, but lifetime ideas, presented unusually and illustrated by unexpected examples. Speakers as well as their ideas were variable, however all of them were unforgettable. Some were distinctive by the way they speak, the others — by the emotions they cause. A real specter of emotions was not only on the stage, but among the viewers — from laugh to tears, from irony to deep thinking.

As it was a competition, we were considered to be rivals, however the atmosphere was just the opposite. Everyone was so friendly, and I felt like I had met my old friends, in spite of the fact, it was my first experience in this competition. Everybody was eager to help. We supported each other by applause and warm words.

During the competition we had some coffee-breaks, and they were not less interesting than speeches. Because it was a wonderful opportunity to gather together and to have a talk in convenient atmosphere. If you are under 21 yet — don’t lose this possibility to participate in the ESU National Public Speaking Competition. Remember: "Who makes no mistakes — makes nothing".
