March 11, 2015 at 14.10 The KSPU scientific library  will held a competition   for the best reading of works of Taras Shevchenko.

March 16th, the championship on the orienteering was held on the slopes of Ingul near the village Popovka Kirovohrad region. The tourist Club of the KSPU "Mandry" took an active part in these competitions. Though the boys were also participating in the championship only the girls could win the podium.

The second-year student of the Department of Physical Education Alex Zhurba participated in the Championship of Ukraine among the junior sports in kettlebell lifting, held in the village Chkalov, Dnipropetrovsk region on the 27.02.15r. to 02.02.15r. In fierce fighting Alex took the second place in the Combined Junior and third place in the long run for juniors.

These words were the beginning of congratulations to Professor Oleh Yevhenovych Poliarush from the Kirovograd city council secretary Ivan Markov, who, together with Deputy Mayor Serhii Olexandrovych Kolodyazhnyi attended the February meeting of the Academic Council of the University. Officials together with warm words presented him the highest award of the Kirovograd city council - a gold medal "For merits" of the first degree. The present with applause greeted him.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of 12.23.2014 № 1506 g. "On a nationwide student competition in the 2014/2015," April 22-24, 2015 the KSPU held a second stage of the Ukrainian Student Olympiad in "Primary education" among university students.

February 6-7, 2015, the Junior Championship was held in Sumy. The competitions pleased with the high performance.

Згідно з Указом Президента України Петра Порошенка «Про вшанування подвигу учасників Революції гідності та увічнення пам’яті Героїв Небесної Сотні» 20 лютого в Україні щорічно відзначатиметься День Героїв Небесної Сотні – на знак вшанування відваги, сили духу і стійкості громадян, які віддали своє життя під час Революції гідності (листопад 2013 року – лютий 2014 року), захищаючи ідеали демократії, відстоюючи права і свободи людини, європейське майбутнє України.

2015 рік розпочався на емоційній ноті. Щойно на базі Кіровоградської музичної школи №2 імені Ю.С. Мейтуса відбувся фестиваль української академічної музики «Klassik-proekt» присвячений пам’яті Юлия Сергійовича Мейтуса відомого композитора, який народився в місті Єлисоветграді. Цьогоріч цей захід став ще більш насиченим завдяки креативній лабораторії музикознавця, паралельно зякою проводилися змагання юних композиторів, конкурси на найкраще виконання творів Ю.С. Мейтуса, авторські концерти визначних українських композиторів сучасності, виступи учнів музичних шкіл та студентів мистецьких навчальних закладів, виставки, презентації нових творів.
