Project objective:

Taking into account the political support of the European Commission and Ukraine’s national educational narratives, the project's goal is to implement European expertise as the key vector for developing Ukraine’s national teacher training standards. The project aims to modernize the teacher training system by shaping future educators not only as skilled professionals, but also as highly ethical individuals.

Expected outcomes:

1. Development of higher education standards for bachelor's degree programs in Secondary Education (Subject areas: Ukrainian Language and Literature, Mathematics, History).

2. Development and integration of a new course, "Introduction to Educational Studies: Best EU Practices for Ukraine" (3 ECTS), into the teacher training curricula.

3. Creation of four specialized modules for Secondary Education (Mathematics, History, Ukrainian Language and Literature):

  • Teaching methods course: "Adaptive Learning" module
  • Pedagogy course: "Inclusive Education Strategy" module
  • Psychology course: "Social-Emotional and Ethical Learning" module
  • Information technology course: "Digital Skills for Sustainable Education in Ukraine" module

4. Establishment of a new educational environment for teacher training at each participating Ukrainian university.
