Invited to participate in seminars

3 April 2017 at 14.00 in Room 709 of the Foreign Languages Department Department of Germanic Languages Practice invites university professors and school language-teachers to participate in the seminar "Britain in our English Lessons in a comparative, critical and contemporary way. British Studies, British Schools and Brexit", conducted by an experienced British trainer Mark Andrews.

Mark Andrews has been working in Eastern and Central Europe for over 30 years now as a teacher trainer in ELT. He worked for the British Council as an ELT consultant for 12 years in Czechoslovakia ,the Czech Republic and Hungary and co-ordinated the IATEFL-Hungary Culture and Literature Special Interest Group for 5 years. He is a co-author of the coursebook “Zoom In”. He is now training director at Sharing One Language (SOL) and runs teacher development courses in Slovakia, Serbia and Devon in the summer as well as doing workshops and talks all over Central and Eastern Europe.
